Whiteside is having a monstrous start to the year, averaging 17.5 points and 13.8 rebounds per game, and recorded double-digit rebounding numbers once again. However, the 27-year-old failed to record a double-double for the first time this season, as he posted his worst shooting performance since last January. Whiteside’s scoring numbers should bounce back as he has been the focal point of the Heat’s offense, leading the team in scoring in all but two games so far.
