Grizzlies take down Nets in Brooklyn, 112-103

The Memphis Grizzlies won for the eighth time in 11 games, defeating the Brooklyn Nets, 112-103, Monday at Barclays Center. The Grizzlies have now won five straight against the Nets and extended their road winning streak in the series to three.

Memphis led the majority of the game, but couldn't blow the game open as Brooklyn had an answer for each Grizzlies run. However, they were able to keep the Nets at arms length down the stretch thanks to nine straight points by Mike Conley over a 2:08 stretch late in the fourth quarter.

The Grizzlies shot 50.6 percent from the field and are now 8-0 when making at least half of their field goal attempts. They also shot 40.9 percent (9-22) from three-point range and 92.6 percent (25-27) from the free throw line. Tonight marked the fourth time in franchise history (second this season) that the team shot at least 50-40-90 on the road.

Conley led the Grizzlies with 32 points on 10-of-16 shooting (10-11 FT). It marks his 10th career 30-point game, five of which have come this season. The Grizzlies are now 15-6 this season when Conley scores 20-or-more and 4-1 when he scores 30-or-more. It's the first time in his career he has made at least 10 field goals and 10 free throws in the same game.

Vince Carter (14 points) knocked down four of his five three-point attempts and recorded his 1,400th career steal.

Marc Gasol had game-highs in rebounds (9) and assists (8) to go with 19 points. Brandan Wright recorded a season-high 17 points (7-9 FG) and his highest scoring total in a Grizzlies uniform (prev. 15, 2/24/16 vs. LAL).

Spencer Dinwiddie and Brook Lopez recorded 17 points apiece to lead the Nets. Sean Kilpatrick (15 points), Trevor Booker (13 points), Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (13 points) and Bojan Bogdanovic (11 points) also scored in double figures.

The Grizzlies return home for their final game before the All-Star Break, taking on the New Orleans Pelicans at 7 p.m. CT. Catch the action live at FedExForum, tune in to FOX Sports Southeast, presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners, or listen on 92.9 FM ESPN.
