Griffin (quad) will not participate in the USA Basketball Team training camps and exhibition tour this summer, Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reports.

This news isn’t that shocking, as Griffin just underwent a bone marrow procedure on his left quad and has just begun rehabilitation. The expectation is that he will be ready for the start of 2016-17 season, and Griffin and the team will look to avoid any potential setbacks until then.
