Green poured in 10 points (3-5 FG, 4-5 FT), a rebound and a pair of blocks over 17 minutes in Wednesday’s 102-81 Game 2 victory over the Trail Blazers.

The 29-year-old was barely a blip on the stat sheet with a three-point effort in Game 1, but registered in more impactful fashion in essentially the same amount of playing time Wednesday. Green showed a bit more aggression on offense, with both his shot and free-throw attempts seeing an increase over his totals in the postseason opener. The eight-year veteran could play a pivotal role in providing some scoring punch with the second unit as the playoffs unfold, particularly in games that turn out to be more competitive than the first pair of contests against the Trail Blazers have been.
