Kevin Garnett was the Timberwolves’ starting power forward for much of the early portion of last season, but Dieng took over those duties in the second half and cemented himself as a key part of the team’s core. In his 28 games after the All-Star break, Dieng averaged 11.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.3 steals in 30.0 minutes per game while shooting an impressive 52.7 percent from the floor and 84 percent from the free-throw line. His ample contributions in the defensive categories along with his strong percentages make him a great value in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.
