Gordon Hayward: Sees season-low 21 minutes Saturday

Coach Quin Snyder was without his starting frontcourt of Derrick Favors (knee)
and Rudy Gobert (knee) Saturday against the Thunder — seemingly a prime
opportunity for Hayward to catch big minutes and high usage. However, in a
puzzling twist, Hayward only ended up playing 21 minutes and contributing a
modest nine points. Coach Snyder played his entire available roster during
matchup, so it’s possible that he used Saturday as an opportunity to get some
deep reserves more experience before the playoffs. Regardless, Hayward’s
performance is likely a disappointment for those who started him Saturday, but
probably won’t be a sign of things to come.
