Glenn Robinson: Scores 17 points in spot start

For the second straight preseason contest, Robinson went off for 17 points, though some major caveats apply for this performance. For one, the Pacers were without the services of their top two small forwards in Paul George (rest) and C.J. Miles (knee), so Robinson was the default choice to start at the position. Moreover, he saw nine minutes more than any other player on the team, which played a significant role in his team-high 14 shot attempts. Look for the third-year player’s minutes to fade once the Pacers bring back George and Miles to active status, and it’s quite likely that Robinson won’t be in the rotation once the regular season opens.
