Henderson has appeared in all three of the 76ers’ previous preseason contests, but he’s been held to the same minute restriction in all of those games to aid his recovery from a hip injury. It’s not expected that Henderson will face any limitations when the regular season arrives, and he’s in line to serve as the 76ers’ starting shooting guard. With few other sources of backcourt scoring on the roster, Henderson could hit double digits in the points column again in 2016-17 after averaging just 8.7 points per game last season as a bench player for the Trail Blazers.
