Gerald Henderson: Held out of practice Friday with hip issue

After missing two games over the weekend with soreness in his
surgically-repaired left hip, Henderson has played in the 76ers’ past two
contests, but it appears the injury hasn’t permanently subsided. The team’s
decision to hold the veteran out of practice a day after Thursday’s loss to the
Trail Blazers may have only been precautionary, but he could be at some risk of
missing either or both of the contests for the team’s weekend back-to-back set
in Los Angeles. An official update on Henderson’s status for Saturday’s game may
not arrive until shortly before the 3:30 p.m. ET tip off, as the 76ers aren’t
expected to hold a morning shootaround.
