Georgios Papagiannis: Records first career double-double

With the Kings missing several key regulars Saturday as the team continues to
set its sights on better draft positioning, Papagiannis was able to take on some
increased minutes, and established new personal bests in points and rebounds en
route to the first double-double of his career. The rookie has been out of the
rotation for most of the season and hasn’t exactly impressed at the D-League
level, but he may be able to see some regular run off the bench over the final
month of the campaign as the Kings look to see what he can do against NBA
competition. It’s probably still worthwhile to wait for him to turn in a repeat
performance or two before grabbing him off the waiver wire in deeper leagues,
however.
