George (ankle) put up 15 points (5-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six assists, five rebounds, and one steal across 22 minutes in Sunday’s 129-105 win over the Nets.

The Pacers are still jockeying for playoff positioning, but thanks to racing out to a 28-point halftime lead, coach Frank Vogel was able to rest all of his starters, as none played more than 22 minutes. While it wasn’t a positive development for those who used George in DFS lineups Sunday, it’s probably good for his prospects heading into the postseason, as the lower minutes helped limit the strain on the sore ankle he’s been nursing of late. The Pacers will finish out the regular season with back-to-back matchups Tuesday and Wednesday against non-playoff teams in the Knicks and Bucks, respectively, so George could again be in line for lesser-than-normal minutes on both occasions.
