The Warriors tip-off a three-game road trip with a visit to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
BACK-TO-BACK Fresh off of Monday’s home win over the Hornets, the Warriors will be back in action on Tuesday as they visit the Los Angeles Lakers. The Dubs have gone 7-1 this season in the second games of back-to-backs, and Tuesday’s action will be the second of four head-to-head meetings between the division rivals. The Warriors won the first matchup in convincing fashion behind 32 assists on 45 made field goals, and they’ll look for similar results in Los Angeles. The first of three straight Warriors road games will tip off at 7:30 p.m. and fans catch the action on CSN Bay Area (live stream on CSN Live Extra), NBA TV, KNBR 680 and the Warriors Mobile App.
LAST TIME OUT The players on the floor were waiting for it, the Warriors’ bench was waiting for it and the entire arena was waiting for it. And with 5:34 left in the fourth quarter, it happened: Draymond Green dished to Stephen Curry at the top of the 3-point arc and SPLASH. It was Green’s 10th assist, marking his third-straight triple-double and providing the signature moment of a 111-101 win over the Hornets on Monday night at Oracle Arena. Full Game Recap
GSW: Festus Ezeli (sore toe, left foot) is probable. Leandro Barbosa (left shoulder sprain), Kevon Looney (right hip surgery) and James Michael McAdoo (sprained toe, left foot) are out. Team Notes

WHAT A DAY, DRAYMOND Just hours after being named Western Conference Player of the Week, Draymond Green made an early push to receive the honor again with 13 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists in Monday’s win over the Hornets. It was Green’s third straight triple-double, and he joins a who’s who list of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Jason Kidd and Grant Hill as the only other players in the last 20 years to achieve that feat. Green now leads the NBA with seven triple-doubles, which is the most by a Warriors player since Tom Gola during the 1959-60 season.
L.A. LAKERS SCOUTING REPORT The Lakers have the worst record in the Western Conference, but they do enter Tuesday’s showdown as winners of three games in a row. The Lakers have won those games by an average margin of 12.4 points during that stretch, holding opponents to 38.7 percent shooting and 21.8 percent on 3-pointers. Of course, you can’t talk about the Lakers without at least mentioning Kobe Bryant and his farewell season. The future Hall of Famer is leading the team with 17.2 points per game, but he has missed the last two games with a sore right shoulder, and the Lakers consider him to be questionable to play against the Warriors on Tuesday. Regardless of the status of Bryant, the Warriors will look to take care of business and build upon the best start to a season in NBA history.
