Game Preview: Nets v Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks (0-3) and Brooklyn Nets (0-3) will both look to secure their first win of the season when the two teams square off at the Barclays Center on Monday.

The Bucks have struggled out of the gate while trying to find the right starting lineup combination, a task that's been difficult to accomplish with multiple players nursing injuries. Expected starting power forward Jabari Parker (knee) remains unavailable until further notice, while John Henson (Achilles) and O.J. Mayo (hamstring) sat out Sunday's loss to the Raptors and could remain unavailable Monday. Giannis Antetokounmpo, who missed the season opener due to a suspension, has looked strong through two games this season with a pair of 20-plus-point and nine-rebound performances, but he'll need some more support from his mates if the Bucks are to start winning games.

Injuries have had their effect on the Nets too, with Jarrett Jack (hamstring) missing one game and Joe Johnson playing through a hand ailment. Johnson in particular has had a tough start to the season, producing just 7.7 points per game while shooting 31 percent from the field. The Nets will need him to raise his production in future contests to even have a shot at staying competitive. Brooklyn has lost all three of their games by at least 10 points.
