Grizzlies look for third win over Golden State this season

The Golden State Warriors will take on the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at 8:00 PM at FedExForum.

The Warriors (44-8) are, as expected, rolling. After their dominating 31-point victory over the Bulls on Wednesday, Golden State has now won six of their last seven games and 13 of their last fifteen. The team they lost to prior to that 15-game stretch? The Memphis Grizzlies by a final score of 128-119 at Oracle Arena. In fact, they are already 0-2 against the Grizzlies (33-22) this season. So, it’s safe to say that revenge will be on the mind of the Warriors’ players when they take the floor in Memphis on Friday.

Those Grizzlies, however, have been on a hot streak of their own as winners of three games in a row and six of their last seven. That streak has allowed them to creep up the Western Conference standings, as they are now in a tie for the Clippers for the No. 5 spot while remaining just 1.5 games behind the Jazz for the four-seed. This time around against the Warriors may be a little different, however, for the Grizzlies, as Chandler Parsons will have a scheduled night off and Zach Randolph is questionable after missing Wednesday’s game against the Suns with a sore left foot.
