The Los Angeles Clippers will host the Oklahoma City Thunder at Staples Center on Monday.
The Clippers (28-14) are riding a six game win streak and are playing the fourth straight home game. Aside from a stiff competition against the Memphis Grizzlies during the win streak, which resulted in a win for Los Angeles, the competition has been lacking, even with a still slightly injured Clippers squad. The Thunder (25-17) have been playing well of recent too, as they picked up a 122-118 win over the Kings on Sunday and have won four of their last five games.
Westbrook recorded his 20th triple-double of the season after defeating the Kings, however, the Clippers game will be the second game of a back-to-back for Oklahoma City. Aside from the triple-double, which is becoming more routine every game with Westbrook, Enes Kanter pitched in 29 points effort off the bench, while Steven Adams rounded out a strong big man rotation for the Thunder.
Chris Paul has been playing at an elite level in leading the Clippers on their win streak, as the star point guard has completed a double-double in three of the four games back since returning from hamstring injury. DeAndre Jordan is posted one of his biggest performances of the season in the most recent win over the Lakers, as the big man went for 24 points and 21 rebounds. The pick-and-roll duo that Paul and Jordan make up for the Clippers is continuing to see success, while their defense is undervalued across the league.
