Frye scored a playoff career-high 27 points (10-13 FG, 7-9 3Pt) while adding seven rebounds and a steal in 28 minutes off the bench during Friday’s win over the Hawks in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semi-final.

He came into Friday’s game with just 23 combined points in six games for the Cavs this postseason, so to say Frye’s eruption was unexpected would be a major understatement. The Hawks don’t seem able to prevent Cleveland from scoring at will from beyond the arc, so another big performance from Frye is always possible when the Cavs look for the series sweep Sunday in Atlanta.
