Frank Kaminsky: Churns out double-double Saturday

Kaminsky was able to secure a double-double, but it was about as ugly as imaginable. His awful shooting night, including an empty showing from three-point range, ensured the Hornets wouldn’t keep the game close. Fortunately for the Hornets, they won’t have to count on Kaminsky to shoulder the brunt of the scoring burden when the regular season rolls around. His large volume in Saturday’s game can be attributed to regular starters Marvin Williams (rest), Nicolas Batum (rest) and Cody Zeller (knee) sitting out, along with Kemba Walker being limited to just 15 minutes.
