Five things to know about the Pelicans on Jan. 13, 2017

1)      New Orleans (16-24) capped off a New York City road sweep by winning at Brooklyn last night. The Pelicans prevailed 104-95, after routing the Knicks on Monday. Anthony Davis did not play Thursday due to the hip injury he sustained vs. the Knicks.

2)      Tyreke Evans and Terrence Jones impressed, with two of their best games of the season. Watch postgame reaction from Evans, Jones and others.

3)      Jones had a jaw-dropping move Thursday that made many highlight shows.

4)      On a relatively quiet day on the NBA schedule, the Pelicans inched back to within 1.5 games of eighth place in the Western Conference. New Orleans arrived in Chicago at around 2 a.m. this morning and will practice today in the Windy City. Pelicans-Bulls tips off at 4 p.m. Central on Saturday.
