The annual NBA Fit Week wrapped up on Friday, and to cap off a health-filled week the Cavs took over a school assembly in Akron. The unsuspecting students of Bettes Elementary School were surprised by the Wine and Gold as part of the team’s “Fit as a Pro” program, presented by Medical Mutual and Giant Eagle.
Members of the Scream Team, Charge Girls and Q Spirit Squad greeted the kids and mingled with the staff. In-arena hype man Ahmaad and PA announcer Olivier discussed the importance of fitness and nutrition with the students. The entertainers also performed for the assembled group.
