E’Twaun Moore: Provides team-leading 25 points in loss

Both Moore and Buddy Hield (14 points in Sunday’s game) have been stellar throughout the preseason, but the former appears to have the edge on opening the regular season as the starting shooting guard, as he’s been with the top unit for all three exhibitions thus far. Sunday marked Moore’s best performance to date, and his strong three-point shooting and ability to play both guard spots should ensure that he holds down a sizable role once Jrue Holiday (personal) and Tyreke Evans (knee) return to action, likely by midseason.
