As was the case during the Western Conference Finals series with the Warriors last season, Kanter saw his role off the bench dwindle, mostly as a result of the defensive limitations he has against Golden State’s small-ball lineups. Kanter will likely see minimal use against the Warriors and other teams that run up-tempo attacks throughout the season, but more often than not, his minutes will sit in the 20-to-25 range.
