Emmanuel Mudiay: Puts up 14 points, seven assists in loss

After shooting 36.4 percent from the floor and averaging 3.2 turnovers in 30.4 minutes per game as a rookie, Mudiay has a lot of room for improvement entering 2016-17, but the early returns in the preseason aren’t all that encouraging. While he was able to produce some quality counting stats Sunday, Mudiay has remained wildly inefficient. He’s turned the ball over at least three times in each of his three exhibition contests and is shooting 1-for-11 from three-point range and 10-for-34 (29.4%) overall.
