Embiid went through a workout available to the media on Monday, where he was seen shooting free throws, taking jumpers and even throwing down some dunks. He’s progressed to the point where he’s getting in a bunch of on-court work, however, he’s yet to start scrimmaging. That’s next on the schedule for Embiid, who’s expected to begin 2-on-2 work later this week. It’s a move in the right direction for Embiid, who the Sixers are still hoping will be available for the season opener in the fall. Embiid remains without a concrete timetable for a return, however, so we should see his progress monitored further throughout the summer.
