During the Houston Rockets’ 108-101 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, Rockets center Dwight Howard climbed the NBA’s rebounding charts, surpassing four-time Defensive Player of the Year Ben Wallace for 30th place all-time.
Howard, ranking third in rebounding this season with 12.0 per game, finished the game with 16 rebounds. He now has 10,486 for his career.
Next in the former Defensive Player of the Year’s path is David Robinson, who grabbed 10,497 in 14 NBA seasons.
