Durant catches fire as Dubs down Thunder

All eyes were on Kevin Durant on Thursday night, and it’s safe to say he didn’t disappoint. Playing against his old team for the first time, the first-year Warriors forward did it all to lead the Dubs to a 122-96 victory over the Thunder at Oracle Arena.

All Durant did is put up a season-high 39 points on 15-of-24 shooting, matching a career-high with seven 3-pointers in just 31 minutes of action.

As hot as he was, it didn’t start out the way. The Dubs trailed by as many 10 points before closing the gap with a 10-1 run to end the period. That run exploded to a 47-12 spurt as the Warriors dominated the second quarter 37-11.
