Draymond Green: Posts double-double to open season

The consensus heading into the season was that Green would repeat his across-the-board production in the non-scoring categories, but might suffer a scoring dip as Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson dominate the shot attempts. But on opening night, Green’s 15 attempts was third most. And that may be the case when one of more of the big three are struggling from the field. On Tuesday, it was Thompson, who was 5-for-13 overall and 1-for-6 from 3-point distance. Whether he gets 15 shots or five, Green will find a way to contribute most nights for fantasy owners.
