Draymond Green: Gets rare rebound and assist double-double

Green failed to get to the charity stripe for the first time all season and his seven shots attempts were his second fewest in the Warriors’ first seven games, but that didn’t prevent him from coming away with his first double-double of the campaign. With the triumvirate of Stephen Curry (who hit an NBA-record-setting 13 three-pointers), Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson perhaps enjoying their best collective game of the season, Green played the facilitator role to perfection, notching a season-high assist total. He also added his usual contributions on the defensive end, and now has four games with double-digit boards, four games with multiple steals and four games with multiple blocks. So long as you’re not rostering him with the expectation that he’ll replicate the 14.0 points per game he averaged in 2015-16, Green remains an elite fantasy option at the forward spot.
