Although his only points came by way of the charity stripe, Green showed why he will remain a valuable component of the Warriors’ first unit and solid fantasy producer despite the offseason addition of a third prolific scoring option in Kevin Durant. He dominated on the boards while also serving as an effective ball distributor, two areas in which he should be heavily involved this coming season. Green tellingly posted only one double-digit scoring effort in the six exhibitions he played in and didn’t take more than eight shot attempts in any of the contests, which is likely a harbinger of the degree of offensive involvement he’ll often have in the 2016-17 campaign.
