Douglas-Roberts scored five points in 19 minutes, all from the free-throw line, to go along with a rebound and three steals Monday in the Pelicans’ loss to the Rockets.

Douglas-Roberts only shot the ball once from the field, but still managed to score five points coming off the bench. He saw an increase in playing time due to the injuries to Tyreke Evans (knee) and Luke Babbitt (hamstring), but Douglas-Roberts did see similar minutes to Alonzo Gee, his main competition for minutes off the bench. In fact, Douglas-Roberts looked better than Gee in the box score, but the 28-year-old will probably still be relegated to a lower bench role once Evans and Babbitt are playing.
