Doug McDermott: Erupts for 21 points in 21 minutes Saturday

Despite his standing as a bench player, McDermott is occasionally capable of
carrying a team’s offense for spurts due to his hot shooting, and he turned in
his best performance in a Thunder uniform Saturday to buoy the attack. Even with
the outburst, McDermott is averaging just 7.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1
three-pointers in 22.2 minutes per game over his 12 appearances with the Thunder
since being acquired at the trade deadline, so it will be difficult to wring
much value out of him in the majority of leagues.
