Finney-Smith, an undrafted rookie out of Florida, ended up beating out point guard Jonathan Gibson for the final spot. Though the 6-foot-8 Finney-Smith offers athleticism on the wing, he’s still a bit raw and isn’t ready to contribute much at the NBA level. Look for him to spend the bulk of the 2016-17 campaign with the D-League’s Texas Legends.
