Dion Waiters: Scores two points in loss to Thunder

After seeing no fewer than 33 minutes in the Heat’s first four games, Waiters has dipped below the 30-minute mark in two straight contests. It doesn’t seem like a coincidence, as the return of Josh Richardson from a knee injury in the first four games has resulted in reduced roles for both Waiters and Rodney McGruder. With Waiters offering only six points on 3-for-17 shooting over those two games, he could be at risk of losing his starting role to Richardson if he doesn’t turn things around quickly.
