Dion Waiters played meaningful minutes last season for an Oklahoma City Thunder squad that made the Western Conference Finals. In OKC's postseason run, Waiters increased his shooting percentage.
The 24-year-old's highest scoring output in the playoffs came in the first round against the Mavericks, but perhaps his most impactful performance came on May 8 against the Spurs. In that contest, Waiters scored 17 points, grabbed three boards, dished out three assists and came up with a steal. While he scored the majority of his points in the first half, he nailed a huge 3-pointer with 5:41 left to give the Thunder a 98-91 lead.
Throughout his career, Waiters has never been scared of the moment. His fearlessness should go a long way with the HEAT.
