Deyonta Davis: Unlikely to play Tuesday

Davis has practiced the last three days and hasn’t encountered any setbacks, so it appears he’s nearing a return to the court after dealing with a bout of plantar fasciitis in his foot. He’s not expected to play Tuesday, but if he’s able to go through practice without issues the rest of the week, Davis could see action in the team’s final two preseason games. With that said, even when he’s fully healthy, Davis isn’t expected to take on a role in the Grizzlies’ regular rotation.
