Booker indicated after Friday’s loss to the Magic that his right ankle has been
bothering him over the last couple of games, and given his long-term value to
the franchise, the Suns don’t want him to risk a more severe aggravation. With
Booker joining Eric Bledsoe (knee), Brandon Knight (back), Leandro Barbosa
(illness) and likely Ronnie Price (leg) on the sideline Sunday, the Suns could
be forced to rely on T.J. Warren, a natural small forward, to see the bulk of
the action at shooting guard. The newly-signed Jarell Eddie is also likely to
see extended action in his team debut.
