After easing into the preseason with a pair of solid efforts where he averaged 16.0 points, Booker exploded for one of his trademark scoreboard-lighting performances Friday. The second-year man was on fire from in front of the arc, while also making some heady defensive plays. Booker’s rapid development and considerable upside have already relegated Brandon Knight to a sixth man role to start the season, but the trio of Booker, Knight and Eric Bledsoe figure to all get a robust helping of minutes in what could be one of the most prolific backcourt rotations in the league this coming season.
