Derrick Favors: Not practicing Friday

After missing Wednesday’s preseason finale, Favors turned his attention to making sure he is ready for the start of the regular season. It’s possible the Jazz are remaining cautious with their starting power forward, but Favors will want to put in some practice time eventually before Oct. 25. He should be considered day-to-day at this point until Utah can provide an update on him.
