Derrick Favors: Limited at practice Sunday

Favors was sidelined throughout a large portion of the preseason schedule, so despite being just a limited participant Sunday, it’s still good news for the Jazz. With the Jazz’s regular season opener against the Trail Blazers scheduled for Tuesday, Favors will likely need to increase his participation Monday in order to get himself ready for that contest. With that said, it seems more likely he’ll sit out against the Trail Blazers to avoid any sort of aggravation, with the hope that he’s back to full strength shortly thereafter. We should get further word on his status in the near future.
