While he didn’t exactly overcome the shooting woes that had plagued him over the first two games of the series, DeRozan was able to eclipse the 20-point mark for the first time in the postseason and co-lead the Raptors in scoring. He shot only slightly better than the first two contests– when he’d tallied success rates south of 30 percent– but undeniably helped take some of the scoring load off Kyle Lowry. The 26-year-old is now averaging 15.0 points, 3.0 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals over the first three games of the series, and continued contributions of this level would certainly go a long way to producing the balanced offensive attack the Raptors will need to prevail.
