DeRozan scored 20 points (9-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding three rebounds and three assists in 42 minutes during Friday’s Game 6 loss to the Cavaliers.

He and Kyle Lowry combined for 55 points, but no other Raptor managed even double digits as the Cavs took the series and booked their trip to the NBA Finals. DeRozan’s future remains uncertain, as free agency and a possible max contract looms this offseason, but if he does return to Toronto the team will need to add better pieces around their All-Star backcourt duo if they want to challenge Cleveland’s supremacy in the Eastern Conference.
