After two seasons as Jeff Teague’s understudy, Schroder takes the reins of the starting job following the latter’s departure in the offseason. Schroder has already flashed glimpses of being ready for the role, particularly last season, when he averaged 10.0 points, 4.1 assists, 2.1 rebounds, 0.6 steals and 0.1 blocks over 19.7 minutes across 77 games (10 starts).
