Delon Wright: Has third-year option picked up

Even though Wright is expected to be sidelined for the first two months of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder, the Raptors still view him as a core player, so it’s not surprising Toronto chose to pick up his third-year option. Wright is expected to settle into third-string duties at point guard behind starter Kyle Lowry and backup Cory Joseph once he’s healthy.
