The Sixers had high expectations after bringing Saric over from Turkey this summer, but the 22-year-old has performed better than anticipated through his first two preseason games. With Ben Simmons (foot) at risk of missing most of the season, Saric is well positioned to open the season as the starting power forward, and has already adapted well to the NBA three-point line. He’s 4-for-6 from long distance over the two exhibition contests and has shot 9-for-13 (69.2%) overall.
