CLEVELAND, Ohio — The oddsmakers in Las Vegas have spoken. The Cleveland Cavaliers, after falling two wins short of winning the NBA title, are the clear-cut favorite in the Eastern Conference.

It isn’t surprising. After all, the Cavs lost two games in the postseason before the NBA Finals and are better and more experience than they were a season ago.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The NBA has rescinded J.R. Smith’s questionable technical foul during the Cavaliers’ season-opening loss Tuesday at Chicago, cleveland.com has learned.

Unfortunately for the Cavaliers, that doesn’t change the outcome of the game, which the Bulls won, 97-95.
