CHICAGO – After a surprising push in the final 90 seconds gave them a chance to pull out a comeback victory, the Cleveland Cavaliers committed one final mistake to seal a 97-95 loss to the Chicago Bulls in the season opener Tuesday night at the United Center.

Not this time.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — LeBron James could see this coming.
“I don’t think we will immediately be able to play at a high level because we have so many guys out,” James said recently. “I don’t think our chemistry is where it needs to be to start the season off.
“I think as we get guys back into the flow of things, guys come back off of injury and we’re able to put the time in on the practice floor, I think we’ll be a much better team.” – CLICK HERE to read full story.
LeBron James and Cavaliers were good, not quite presidential in opening loss: Joe Vardon’s instant analysis Author: Joe Vardon Publication: Cleveland.com
CHICAGO – LeBron James and his teammates visited President Barack Obama at the White House in consecutive Januaries.
That’s the idea, the goal, of all 30 NBA teams around this time each year, and certainly so for the Cavaliers: Party down over a championship in the Oval office.
James did it twice with the Miami Heat, in January, 2013 and again the following year.
Don’t get him wrong, it was still really, really cool that Obama sat courtside in Chicago for the Cavaliers’ 97-95 loss on opening night to the president’s beloved Bulls, but James and his Cleveland ‘mates would much prefer a January, 2017 stop to the White House. Maybe even before Obama leaves and his successor hangs new drapes. – CLICK HERE to read full story.
