LeBron, Love and Mo lift Cleveland Cavaliers past Utah Jazz, 118-114 Author: Chris Haynes Publication: Cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio – For three and a half quarters Tuesday night, the Utah Jazz made it interesting. But a 10-0 run late in the quarter gave the Cavaliers a vital cushion for their seventh win of the season.

Thanks to LeBron James, Kevin Love and Mo Williams, the Cavaliers increased their conference-high winning streak to seven by closing out their four-game homestand with a 118-114 victory at The Q.

As the games have gone for the Cavaliers of late, there wasn’t a lot of consistency. Utah (4-3) started the fourth on a 14-6 run to take a 95-86 lead with 7:22 left. James had seen enough and erupted for 17 of his game-high 31 points in the final quarter. He also produced seven rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 38 minutes. – CLICK HERE to read full story.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Cavaliers capped a perfect homestand with a 118-114 win against the upstart Utah Jazz on Tuesday night

The Cavs have won seven straight games since losing the opener against Chicago and are off to their best eight-game start since 1988-89.

There were visions of a slow start to the new campaign, especially having to play without two starters, Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert. But that hasn’t materialized.

During the four-game homestand, the Cavs found a number of different ways to win. Some nights it was about their suffocating defense. Other nights it was about late-game execution on offense. They won games against smaller teams, matching the uptempo style. They won games against physical teams, showing they have the size and toughness to play that style as well. Then Tuesday night against the best defense in the NBA, the Cavs scored a season-high 118 points, displaying a different gear. – CLICK HERE to read full story.

LeBron James puts his signature on Cavaliers’ seventh straight win: Joe Vardon’s instant analysis Author: Joe Vardon Publication: Cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The signature moment for LeBron James Tuesday night was probably the biceps slap.

James had just stepped into a passing lane for a steal midway through the fourth quarter and was on his way toward the hoop when Utah’s Rodney Hood wrapped both arms around him in an attempt to stop the play.

James, of course, tossed the ball up from his waist and into the basket, drawing the foul and slapping his flexed right biceps in a bit of warranted self admiration. – CLICK HERE to read full story.
