Kyrie Irving accepts invitation to play for Team USA in Rio Olympics Author: Scott Sargent Publication: Waiting For Next Year
LeBron James may not be traveling to Rio this summer to play with Team USA in the 2016 Summer Olympics, but it appears that his Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Kyrie Irving will. According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, Irving has accepted his invitation to suit up alongside some of the best the country has to offer as they look to build off of their gold medal in the 2014 World Cup.
