CLEVELAND, Ohio. – The representatives of the future Hall-of-Fame sharpshooter Ray Allen have reached out to the Cleveland Cavaliers to inform the champs that their client is anticipating a return to basketball after a two-year hiatus, league sources informed cleveland.com.

The interest is mutual, a league source said.

Allen, who turns 41 on July 20, has also contacted the Golden State Warriors and would listen to the Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs, a league source confirms. The 18-year-veteran hasn’t completely come around to continuing his career. – CLICK HERE to read full story.

CLEVELAND, Ohio. – The Cavaliers on Tuesday announced their 2016 Summer League 13-man roster along with their preliminary schedule for Las Vegas play starting Friday through July 18.

Point guard Kay Felder, the team’s 54th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, will headline the group. Forward Sir’Dominic Pointer, the team’s 53rd pick in last year’s draft, and guard Michael Stockton who each play for the Cavaliers’ D-League affiliate the Canton Charge are also on the roster.

The team’s head coach will be Phil Handy. He will be assisted by James Posey, Vitaly Potapenko, Dan Vincent, Damon Jones, Mike Gerrity, Dan Geriot and Nate Reinking. – CLICK HERE to read full story.

CLEVELAND, Ohio. – The rumors of Dwyane Wade coming to the Cavaliers have sparked a buzz in the social media world that has to be addressed.

There is a reason that buzz hasn’t extended beyond social media. It’s virtually impossible for Wade to maneuver his way to Cleveland unless he’s willing to take a $17 million pay cut.

Would the Cavaliers take Wade? Of course, but so would 29 other teams.

Miami has upped its initial offer from a $10 million annual salary to two-year, $40 million offer. The three-time champion wants to be compensated for his value, believing he sacrificed his earnings the last few years for the betterment of the Heat. – CLICK HERE to read full story.
