CLEVELAND — Jordan McRae added to his memorable summer on Sunday night, being named to the Samsung All-NBA Summer League 2016 First Team.
The 25-year-old swingman helped lead the Summer Cavs to four straight wins and a berth in the semifinals before being tripped up by the undefeated Chicago Bulls.
In seven games, McRae averaged 24.3 points on 37.6 percent from the field, including 29.4 percent from beyond the arc and 81.5 percent from the free throw line. CLEVELAND, Ohio – LeBron James told the Cavs what he already told us nearly a month ago – he’ll re-sign and defend the team’s 2016 NBA championship.
But when James re-ups with Cleveland, and what the contract looks like, still remains a mystery.
Two sources confirmed to Cleveland.com that James has told the Cavs he would re-sign with them at some point this offseason. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst first reported the conversation.
