Kevin Love left off East All-Star Team; LeBron James is lone Cleveland Cavalier in game Author: Chris Haynes Publication: Cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Although the Cleveland Cavaliers have the best record in the Eastern Conference, they’ll only have one of their players in the NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 14 in Toronto.

Kevin Love did not receive enough votes from the conference’s coaches to serve as one of the seven reserves, a league source informed cleveland.com. LeBron James will be the lone Cleveland representative.

Atlanta’s Paul Millsap, Chicago’s Jimmy Butler, Miami’s Chris Bosh, Toronto’s DeMar DeRozan, Detroit’s Andre Drummond, Boston’s Isaiah Thomas and Washington’s John Wall were selected to fill out the roster, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. – CLICK HERE to read full story.

TROY, Mich. — The Cleveland Cavaliers have spent a lot of time perpetuating the myth that Kevin Love deserved a trip to Toronto for the 2016 NBA All-Star Game.

It started with LeBron James in early October.

The campaign continued thanks to fired head coach David Blatt and Kyrie Irving. Even Tyronn Lue voiced his opinion following Wednesday’s win against the Phoenix Suns, a game in which Love scored 21 points to go with 11 rebounds, his 21st double-double. – CLICK HERE to read full story.
